Overview
Aspire People are currently recruiting SEND teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Newark. This school caters for students in KS1 through to KS4. They are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in the care sector who is interested in utilising their skills within education. The role is to start ASAP on a rolling contract with the option to go permanent, with a pay rate of up to 110 per day.
Responsibilities
- Work one-to-one with students
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other teaching assistants
- Support the development of social and cognitive skills
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience in the care sector or healthcare/support work
- Interest in applying skills to education
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 β 15:30
- Willingness to commit to a long-term contract with the possibility of extension or permanency
- Ability to work with students across KS1 to KS4 and support their progress
Remuneration & Contract
- Rolls on a rolling contract with the option to extend or become permanent
- Pay rate up to 110 per day
