Overview

SEND Teaching Assistant – Full Time | Warwickshire
Location: Warwickshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering inclusive learning
  • Helping manage behaviour in line with school policies
  • Providing personal care support where required
  • Creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred but not essential)
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach to learning support
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or be willing to apply for one (we can assist with the process or cover the cost)
