Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher looking for your next opportunity within a specialist SEND setting? Aspire People are recruiting SEND Teachers to work across a number of specialist schools in North East Birmingham. We have opportunities available on a day-to-day supply, long-term and permanent basis, supporting children and young people aged 2-21 with a wide range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD, physical disabilities and complex learning needs. Whether you have experience in a specialist SEND school or within an SEN provision in a mainstream setting, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to support pupil progress.
- Manage behaviour positively using a consistent and nurturing approach.
- Support pupils with communication, independence and life skills.
- Provide personal care where required, ensuring pupils' dignity, wellbeing and safety are maintained.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
