Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Start Date: September

Overview: I am currently recruiting for a strong Teaching Assistant for a school in Leicester. This role will be supporting children with SEN and could potentially become permanent for the right candidate. The school encompasses a nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to lead their own learning, and you will encourage this ethos through your ability to be calm, patient and to provide creative intervention.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification preferred but not essential
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN on a one‑to‑one basis
  • Experience of MAKATON is preferable but not essential
  • Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
