Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work in both mainstream schools with SEN hubs and specialist SEN schools across Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. You may be supporting pupils with:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
- Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
- Complex Needs
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)
