We are currently looking for SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistants who are proactive, patient, and passionate about helping students overcome challenges. About the Role:
Location: Wisbech and surrounding areas.
Type: Flexible opportunities, including daily cover and long-term placements.
Role: Supporting students with SEN/SEMH needs in both 1:1 and group settings.

What We\βre Looking For:
Experience working with SEN/SEMH students: Ideally, you have experience supporting children with special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Patience and Empathy: You should have a compassionate and understanding approach, helping students build confidence, self-regulation, and achieve their potential.
Proactive and Adaptable: Ability to work flexibly within the classroom and assist the teacher in delivering engaging, supportive learning activities.
Team Player: Collaborate effectively with the teaching staff, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Relevant Qualifications: Experience working in a similar role or qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN-related qualifications would be beneficial, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with SEN/SEMH needs, both 1:1 and in small group settings.
Assist students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills.
Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and other tailored learning strategies.
Encourage students to build positive relationships with their peers and staff.
Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Help with behaviour management and offer emotional support where needed.
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare of students at all times.
