Aspire People is currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Trafford. About the Role: You will be teaching pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs, including ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), challenging behaviours, complex needs, and/or MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties). Your expertise in delivering the UK curriculum in a flexible and engaging manner will be essential in helping these pupils achieve their potential. Key Requirements: – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. – Proven experience working with pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviours, complex needs, and/or MLD. – Knowledge and experience of delivering the UK curriculum in SEN settings. – Ability to manage and support challenging behaviours effectively. – Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one immediately. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and families.
