Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? Aspire People is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in the B12 area of Birmingham for a committed SEN TA to join their supportive team.

This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support both in and out of the classroom. You will play a vital role in helping children access learning, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning strategies.
  • Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting.
  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for supporting children to achieve their best.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential with suitable experience.
