Aspire People are looking for SEN experienced Teaching Assistants to support a Northamptonshire based secondary school that supports students with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work with pupils with a diverse learning and cognitive needs, including those on the autism spectrum.

About you

  • Previous SEN experience (school setting or elsewhere)
  • Resilient, empathetic, and positive individual with a passion for supporting children with SEN and Additional Needs
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding and responding to the needs of students
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, proactive attitude and strong motivation

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the school
  • Help students progress, develop life skills, and achieve recognised qualifications
  • Support pupils with diverse learning and cognitive needs, including those on the autism spectrum
