Aspire People are looking for SEN experienced Teaching Assistants to support a Northamptonshire based secondary school that supports students with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work with pupils with a diverse learning and cognitive needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
About you
- Previous SEN experience (school setting or elsewhere)
- Resilient, empathetic, and positive individual with a passion for supporting children with SEN and Additional Needs
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Understanding and responding to the needs of students
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, proactive attitude and strong motivation
Responsibilities
- Contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the school
- Help students progress, develop life skills, and achieve recognised qualifications
