Are you an experienced and passionate English teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with SEMH needs? A bespoke and specialist independent school in Solihull are seeking a full-time SEMH English Teacher to join their growing, supportive team. This unique setting caters to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, including those with attachment disorders, and those who have experienced abuse, neglect, or other complex challenges.

The Role

What We're Looking For (preferably)

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or a full degree in English (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 years UK teaching experience will be considered in lieu of formal QTS
  • Demonstrated experience working with SEMH students
  • Flexibility to teach across Primary and Secondary curriculums
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset - strong interpersonal skills are essential
