Position: SEMH Math's Teacher

About Us: Our client school is a specialist setting supporting young women who are currently unable to attend mainstream education. These students have experienced various forms of disruption in their early lives, which often present as strong behavioural challenges and a mistrust of authority figures. Class sizes are small (maximum of 10 students) and individual ability levels vary depending on personal circumstances. The ideal teacher will bring creativity, structure, and patience into the classroom, while offering a consistent and calm approach to behaviour management.
What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a committed and experienced teacher who can offer:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience in either secondary or upper primary education with a desire or specialism in maths
- A proven ability to deliver the National Curriculum or alternative pathways creatively and flexibly
- Experience supporting students with complex emotional and behavioural needs
- The confidence to build trust and maintain strong, respectful boundaries with students
- A collaborative and reflective approach to working within a multi-disciplinary team
- A valid driving licence (essential, due to the location of the provision)
