Secondary Graduate Tutor - The Role
  • Provide subject-specific support across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention sessions to raise attainment
  • Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons
  • Support behaviour management to ensure a productive learning environment
  • Work with students of all abilities, including those with SEN and EAL needs
  • Take part in extra-curricular activities, clubs, and wider school initiatives
Secondary Graduate Tutor - Candidate Requirements
  • A minimum 2:1 degree from a Russell Group university (subjects such as English, Maths, Science or Humanities are especially desirable)
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with secondary-aged students and pursuing a teaching career
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach to supporting young people
  • Previous experience mentoring, tutoring, or supporting young learners is advantageous
