Role Overview

  • Provide targeted academic support to students across KS3 and KS4 in your specialist subject.
  • Lead one-to-one and small group interventions to boost progress and attainment.

  • Promote a positive learning environment by assisting with behaviour management.
  • Offer tailored support to students with additional needs, including SEN and EAL.

Candidate Profile

  • A 2:1 or above degree from a Russell Group university (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or Languages desirable).
  • A genuine passion for secondary education and long-term interest in teaching.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable, enthusiastic, and resilient when supporting young learners.
  • Previous experience with teenagers (tutoring, mentoring, youth projects) is an advantage.
