Aspire People is seeking a KS3-4 Science Teacher for a well-established and highly-regarded special education school in NG11. The ideal candidate will be flexible and experienced across multiple Key Stages as well as have a knowledge of trauma informed approach, good understanding of ASD and show strong resilience. Though you will be teaching small size classes in KS3-4, some of the students are performing on a much lower level. There are also two teaching assistants in the class to help you teach 11-14 year old pupils.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Science Teacher. This long term position (starting September 2026) is an exciting opportunity to be part of our vibrant school community and make a positive impact on the development and education of our young learners.

Pay: £190/day to start with or £40K/year when you move from agency to school employee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality intervention teaching and support SEN students.
  • Planning and marking is required.
  • Follow the school's curriculum and guidelines to ensure academic progress.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' academic and personal growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in various Key Stages (Due to varied classes).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and methods.
