A Specialist provision within a mainstream Primary school in Eccles requires SEN Teaching Assistants. The school requires staff on short-term and long-term contracts which could be either on a full-time or part-time basis. The school caters for primary pupils with MLD, ASC, SCLN, SpLD, visual impairments, and HI. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference with children in specialist settings.
Within these roles, as an SEN Teaching Assistant, your job will involve creating positive relationships with the pupils and encouraging positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers.
Long-term roles available:
- Full-time positions (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm/8.30am-4.00pm)
- Required to commit to the school on a long-term basis
- Interested in securing a permanent role
Short-term roles available:
- Part-time and/or full-time positions (Varied/ ad-hoc days - 8.30am-1.00pm/ 12.00pm-3.30pm/ 8.30am-3.30pm/4.00pm)
