Aspire People is proud to be working in partnership with a high-quality primary Alternative Provision that is expanding and opening a new site. The school is now seeking a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
This specialist primary setting supports children who have been excluded from mainstream education and pupils with SEMH and additional needs, offering small class sizes and a highly personalised approach.
About the Role:
- Supporting pupils in small primary class groups (maximum 6 pupils)
- Working closely with the class teacher/tutor to support learning and behaviour
- Providing academic, emotional, and pastoral support
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions
- Contributing to individual support and behaviour plans
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have experience supporting children with SEMH or complex needs
