Do you love the outdoors and enjoy helping young people thrive beyond the classroom? We're looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable Outdoor Learning Facilitator to join a supportive primary/SEN setting in the AL3 area.
This is a fantastic role for someone who:
- Has experience working with children in an unqualified teaching, support, or activity leader capacity
- Enjoys being outside in all seasons and using nature as a learning environment
- Can confidently support pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Is patient, flexible, and creative in their approach
- Wants to make a real impact on children's confidence, wellbeing, and engagement
What you'll be doing:
- Leading outdoor learning sessions that inspire curiosity and build practical skills
- Supporting pupils with SEN in small groups or 1:1
- Creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels included
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Helping design engaging outdoor activities that link to the curriculum
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people (school, camp, youth work, outdoor education, etc.)
- A passion for nature-based learning
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to get stuck in, be hands-on, and adapt to the needs of the day
