Looking for candidates with Enhanced Child and Adult DBS already on the update service.
The Role:
- As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you'll help create positive learning experiences that enable every pupil to thrive.
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging, personalised learning activities.
- Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive social skills.
- Supporting behaviour management in line with school policies and individual care plans.
- Providing support during lessons, breaktimes and educational activities.
- Preparing classroom resources and learning materials.
- Monitoring and recording pupils' progress and achievements.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents/carers and external professionals to provide the best possible support for each pupil.
