Rather than observing from the sidelines, you’ll be actively involved in supporting students every day while learning from experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals.

Your Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support that enables every student to engage, progress and succeed. You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting learning in the classroom and across the wider school environment
- Encouraging communication, emotional regulation and social development
- Assisting with personalised learning programmes
- Supporting outdoor learning and community-based activities
- Promoting independence and everyday life skills
- Building positive relationships with students and their families
- Providing personal care and physical support where required
- Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
