About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school team in Redditch. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4) by delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping students develop a strong understanding of scientific principles and their real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to secondary school students.
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for Science and foster their curiosity in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for improvement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and independent learning.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and share best practices.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).
  • Passionate about teaching Science and helping students achieve their potential.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster an engaging, positive learning environment.
  • Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Available to start immediately.
