We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in Wolverhampton.

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Location: Wolverhampton

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children with various SEN, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing both academically and socially, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or relevant experience working in a SEN environment.
  • Experience supporting children with a range of SEN needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
