We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Bury (BL9) area, starting immediately. This is a long-term opportunity.
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can support pupils' learning and work closely with the class teacher to help maintain a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the teacher with classroom learning activities
- Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support where needed
- Encouraging pupil engagement and progress
- Assisting with behaviour management
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or within a school
- A positive and flexible attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
