Aspire People are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools across Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development, whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to build further experience within a primary school setting.
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support pupils' learning
- Assisting with classroom management and preparation of resources
- Supporting pupils with varying abilities, including SEND where required
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting (preferred)
- Holds a relevant TA qualification or has strong classroom-based experience
- Is patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about education
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
