This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work either as a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, supporting children with additional needs, or as a General Classroom Teaching Assistant, helping to create an engaging and positive learning environment for all pupils.

The Role

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), following individual learning and support plans where required.
  • Assist with whole‑class activities and provide small‑group interventions.
  • Encourage pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support successful learning outcomes.

  • Teaching Assistants with previous school experience.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualified candidates.
  • Recent Teaching Assistant course graduates looking to gain classroom experience.
