About the Role

  • Provide targeted classroom support across Key Stage 1 and/or 2
  • Take responsibility for leading small group interventions and occasionally delivering whole-class lessons under teacher direction
  • Support teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment activities
  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
  • Use initiative to manage behaviour, support learning, and adapt to the needs of individual pupils
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support academic and social development
  • Uphold school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety procedures at all times
