The Role:
- Supporting children within Nursery and Preschool provision
- Assisting with early phonics, communication, numeracy, and social development
- Supporting learning through creative and play-based activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
- Assisting with observations and monitoring children's progress
- Working closely with teachers, nursery staff, and parents to support pupil development
- Supporting children with varying needs and abilities within the setting
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
- Experience working within a nursery, preschool, or school-based EYFS setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Warm, patient, and nurturing approach
