We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and adaptable PPA Primary Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at a welcoming primary school in Huyton. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work across various year groups, providing high‑quality teaching and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high‑quality PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover across different year groups in the school, ensuring consistent and engaging lessons.
- Planning and delivering a creative, stimulating, and inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, promoting a love for learning.
- Supporting students' academic and personal development, helping them achieve their full potential through effective teaching and personalised support.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies, fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborating with the class teachers and SENCo to ensure the needs of students with additional learning needs are met.
- Providing feedback to students in a constructive and encouraging manner, promoting self‑confidence and motivation.
- Contributing to the school's wider development, participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified Primary Teacher with QTS, passionate about teaching and committed to providing the highest standards of education.
- A versatile and flexible teacher with the ability to deliver engaging lessons across different year groups.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a calm and focused environment for students.
- A good understanding of the primary curriculum and the ability to adapt lessons to suit the needs of all learners.
- Experience or training in differentiation techniques and supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) – desirable but not essential.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach, with a strong desire to contribute to the school community and make a positive impact on students' learning.
