Are you a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs?
We're recruiting a dedicated Welsh Speaking ALN Teaching Assistant for opportunities across Torfaen. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ALN TA or someone with transferable experience who is passionate about helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and learning.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ALN
- Support pupils through the medium of Welsh where required
- Assist teachers with learning activities and classroom routines
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Support pupils to access learning and reach their individual goals

Who We're Looking For
- Fluent Welsh speaker - essential
- Experience working with children or young people is essential
- ALN/SEND experience is desirable
- Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
