PE Teacher / Sports Coach – Manchester
Kat at Aspire People Manchester is working in partnership with a Secondary Education Provision in Manchester who require a PE teacher to work on a long term and full time basis to start asap.
The role is open to a male or female teacher and the school will also consider unqualified teachers who have strong experience.
The role is to start asap and will continue until the end of the academic year working Monday – Friday 8.30am-4.00pm.
There is the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience of either working as a PE teacher or a sports coach with young people who may have a diverse range of additional needs such as Complex and Challenging Behaviour, ASC (Autism), ADHD or SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health).
You will have the knowledge and experience to be able to plan and lead lessons, manage and organise the PE equipment and ensure that pupils engage and benefit from the sessions you lead.
You will be skilled at developing rapport and professional relationships with young people who may be disengaged with education, vulnerable or at risk.
You will be resilient in nature, have a holistic approach to behaviour, and have the ability to work both independently and as a team.
