The Role
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based experiences.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children's welfare at all times.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
