The Role

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based experiences.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children's welfare at all times.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
