This role offers the chance to work with children who have a range of mild to complex needs, including global delay, autism, and non-verbal communication, providing essential support and encouragement in their learning and development.

About the Role

  • Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Gorton, M18
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with a range of needs, including global delay, autism, and those who are non-verbal.
  • Assist in delivering personalised learning activities, helping children build communication, social, and cognitive skills.

About You

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a specialist setting is ideal, mainstream is considered.

  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with the HLTA and other TAs to meet the needs of each child.
