The Role

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Help deliver engaging learning activities alongside the class teacher
  • Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour
  • Support pupils with a range of learning needs
  • Assist with classroom preparation and daily learning activities
  • Communicate confidently through the medium of Welsh where required

Who We're Looking For

  • Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
  • Experience working with children or young people is essential (school, childcare, coaching, youth work, tutoring, placements or volunteering)
  • Positive, patient and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
