How to prepare for a job interview at Aspire People

Show Your Passion for Sport

This will help you connect with the interviewer and demonstrate that you're a great fit for the role.

Prepare for Behaviour Management Questions

Since you'll be working with young people, expect questions about behaviour management. Think of specific examples where you've successfully encouraged positive behaviour or handled challenging situations. This will show that you have the skills needed to create a supportive learning environment.

Know the School's Values

Research the schools in Newport where you might be placed. Understanding their values and approach to education can help you tailor your answers to align with their ethos. It shows that you're genuinely interested in being part of their community and not just looking for any job.

Be Ready to Discuss Flexibility

Since the role offers flexible work, be prepared to discuss your availability and how you can adapt to different school settings. Highlight any previous experiences where you've had to be flexible or adaptable, as this will reassure the interviewer that you can handle the dynamic nature of the job.
