We are currently working with a number of secondary schools across Newport who are expected to have Science Technician opportunities from September. The Role
- Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for practical science lessons (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
- Solution preparation and chemical handling
- Supporting teachers with lesson preparation and demonstrations
- Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and resources
- Ensuring all practical work is carried out safely and in line with regulations
- Managing stock levels and ordering supplies where required
- Keeping labs clean, safe and ready for use
