The Role:
You will be working 5 days a week delivering Key Stage 3-4 curriculum
Deliver high-quality music lessons, engaging students in practical and theoretical aspects of music.
Teach a range of musical instruments and genres, catering to students\’ diverse interests and abilities.
Lead and support school music ensembles, fostering teamwork and musical collaboration.
Organize and participate in concerts, recitals, and other musical events, showcasing students\’ talents.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the music curriculum and extracurricular activities.
What you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Proven experience teaching Music at Key Stage 3-4 is essential
- A creativity for teaching innovative and engaging lessons using a variety of materials and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong subject knowledge in music, with a comprehensive understanding of music theory and performance.
- Passion for music education and the ability to inspire students through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
- Proficiency in playing and teaching a variety of musical instruments
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
