Do you have hands-on experience working with SEND and managing challenging behaviour, and are you seeking a long-term, full-time role within a nurturing primary setting?
We are currently recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary SEND provision in Leeds (LS9).
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and challenging behaviour
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Encourage engagement, confidence and wellbeing
- Assist with learning across the primary curriculum
- Track and support pupil progress alongside teachers and the SEN team
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment

Person Specification
- Essential: experience supporting children with SEND
