The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: * Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students in the classroom. * Work alongside teachers to support student's learning and engagement. * Help students develop their confidence, independence and organisational skills. * Support students who may have additional learning needs. * Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment. * Assist students with accessing and completing classroom activities. * Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff. * Contribute to the wider pastoral and academic support provided by the school. The Ideal Candidate The school is looking for someone who: * Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within a secondary school setting. * Is patient, approachable and supportive. * Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Can build positive relationships with students while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. * Is committed to inclusion and helping every student succeed. * Can work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teaching and pastoral staff. * Is reliable, proactive and willing to contribute positively to school life.
