Aspire People are recruiting experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for an experienced TA or HLTA who is confident taking on additional responsibility within the classroom and supporting teachers to deliver high-quality learning.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Leading small-group interventions and targeted learning activities
- Covering classes and delivering pre-planned lessons when required
- Supporting pupils to make progress across the curriculum
- Working alongside class teachers to adapt learning and provide additional support
- Helping to maintain positive behaviour and a productive classroom environment
- Taking on additional responsibilities within the wider school
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working as a HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Confident leading groups and supporting whole-class learning
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Reliable, adaptable and professional
