Maths tutor

Full time & Part time available
We are looking for dedicated and passionate Maths Tutors to work with pupils receiving Alternative Provisions outside the traditional school setting, across London. You will provide one-on-one tuition in the home or local community hub to help students improve their maths skills, gain confidence, and reach their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored maths sessions to pupils based on their individual needs and learning styles.
* Build positive relationships with students, encouraging a growth mindset and self-confidence in their abilities.
* Support students in exam preparation, homework help, and improving their overall maths skills.
* Adapt teaching methods to suit different levels of understanding and learning styles.
Key Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of the maths UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 or 4, depending on the role.
* Previous experience tutoring maths to students outside of the school system or those with additional needs.
* Patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
* Qualified Teacher Status in maths or the equivalent tutoring experience.
