Overview
Aspire People is currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join one of our secondary schools on a temporary, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students at KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with the national curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Contribute to the development of the Maths department and wider school community
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS through Aspire People if not already held)
