Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and driven Year 3 Teacher with great classroom management to join our team on a long-term basis, to cover a one-year placement in a Year 3 class in M40. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in Year 3 upper KS1 / Lower KS2, with a focus on Year 3. This role requires strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our students.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 3
- Strong classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and assessment strategies
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
- Uphold school policies and procedures, including behaviour management and safeguarding protocols
