Aspire People is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Manchester and surrounding areas who are looking for Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, career-changers, or anyone with experience working with children who is looking to gain hands-on school experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Working alongside class teachers to support learning
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support where needed
- Helping pupils stay engaged, confident, and motivated
- Supporting behaviour, routines, and classroom organisation
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children (schools, nurseries, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, care, etc.)
- Qualifications in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Child Studies, Arts, Drama, Sports, or Education-related courses
- A positive, proactive, and supportive attitude
- A genuine interest in working within education
