Manchester & Greater Manchester Full-Time & Part-Time. Aspire People is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Manchester and surrounding areas who are looking for Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, career-changers, or anyone with experience working with children who is looking to gain hands-on school experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2
  • Working alongside class teachers to support learning
  • Providing 1:1 or small-group support where needed
  • Helping pupils stay engaged, confident, and motivated
  • Supporting behaviour, routines, and classroom organisation

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children (schools, nurseries, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, care, etc.)
  • Qualifications in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Child Studies, Arts, Drama, Sports, or Education-related courses
  • A positive, proactive, and supportive attitude
  • A genuine interest in working within education
