Aspire People is recruiting confident, resilient and engaging individuals to support pupils within Primary Schools across Wythenshawe.
These schools have a high number of vulnerable pupils, many of whom require positive role models who can build relationships, inspire confidence and help them re‑engage with learning.
This isn't a PE role.
Instead, you'll use your coaching, communication and relationship‑building skills to support children inside the classroom, helping them develop emotionally, socially and academically.
The Role
- Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff, you'll support pupils who may:
- Have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Display behaviours that challenge.
- Be disengaged from learning.
- Need support regulating their emotions.
- Lack confidence or positive role models.
You’ll help children feel safe, engaged and ready to learn by building positive relationships, encouraging resilience and celebrating success – both inside and outside the classroom.
