Aspire People are currently seeking a strong and dedicated bank of 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Manchester. We have a variety of opportunities available, including daily supply, short-term, and long-term roles, offering flexibility to suit your availability and career goals. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), as well as psychology graduates looking to further develop their practical experience within school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support or work with small groups of students with SEN within a secondary mainstream setting
  • Support students with a range of needs, including additional learning needs and challenging behaviour
  • Adapt learning approaches to meet individual student needs
  • Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff
  • Support students both in mainstream classrooms and within SEN hubs or alternative provisions on-site

About You:

We are looking for reliable, flexible, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting young people.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in schools or with children
