We are currently working in partnership with a primary and secondary SEN setting in South Manchester to recruit dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers for September starts. This is an exciting opportunity for Primary-trained teachers with an SEN specialism who are looking to make a meaningful impact in supportive and well-resourced environments. Both long-term contract and permanent positions are available.
The Role
- Deliver tailored lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Adapt curriculum content to meet individual learning styles and abilities
- Support pupils with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
- Create a structured, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting strategies where needed
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Primary teaching background with SEN experience or specialism
- Experience working in SEN or specialist settings
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and EHCPs
- Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
