spire People is recruiting a Behaviour & Pastoral Mentor for a large, inclusive primary school in North Manchester. This role is increasingly in demand but still under-advertised. It suits candidates who are passionate about behaviour support, emotional wellbeing, and helping pupils re-engage with learning.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Delivering behaviour and emotional regulation interventions
- Supporting during transitions, breaktimes, and incidents
- Working closely with SENCOs, DSLs, and families
We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs
- Backgrounds in youth work, pastoral care, education, or support roles
- Calm, consistent, and resilient approach
- No formal TA qualification required if experience is strong
