A vibrant and welcoming specialist school is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team for a full-time position. ECT's are encouraged to apply as the school offers a great training programme where you will be enrolled into a Teacher position if successful.
In this role, you will support classroom learning, assisting with lesson delivery and providing tailored support for students. You will work closely with teaching staff to implement plans for students with additional needs, lead small group activities, and offer one-to-one support as required. Additionally, you will contribute to the monitoring and assessment of students' progress and assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You will also be responsible for 20-40% of classroom Teaching where required.
To be considered for this role, you must hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent and have experience working with children in a school environment - ECT's are also encouraged to apply. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and use your initiative. A passion for helping children succeed academically and socially is key.
