Are you a qualified teacher or leader with extensive SEN/SEMH and management experience? Pleasantly, you may be seeking a permanent post in a specialist secondary school. I am working with a trust who are looking to appoint a Head of Inclusion for their specialist SEN/SEMH setting, starting in September.

Role

  • Lead the behaviour team.
  • Support the team to meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for every learner.
  • Use a range of strategies and interventions to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of pupil achievement.

About you

  • Must have QTS or NPQSEN.
  • Have extensive leadership experience within SEND and inclusion.
  • Fair but firm approach.
  • Understand the expectations and strategic nature of the role.
