At Aspire People, we are recruiting Graduate Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful classroom experience while working alongside experienced teachers and support staff.

The Role

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assist teachers during lessons and classroom activities
  • Help deliver catch-up and intervention sessions
  • Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Supervise pupils during breaks and transitions
  • Gain first-hand experience of school life and safeguarding practices

You may work with pupils who need additional support, including those with SEND, SEMH, or learning gaps.

Preferred Courses / Skills:

  • English / Literacy - supporting reading and writing activities
  • Mathematics / Numeracy - helping students with numeracy skills
  • Arts / Creative Studies - music, drama, visual arts, or design projects
  • Psychology / Child Development / Child Studies - understanding students' needs and behaviour
  • Health / Physical Education - helping with physical activities and well-being
