Aspire People are currently recruiting a bank of enthusiastic and motivated English Graduate Teaching Assistants to support schools across Manchester from September 2026. Long-term opportunities available in:
- Primary Schools
- Secondary Schools
- SEN Schools
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and looking to develop their skills within a school setting.
The Role
- Support students academically within the classroom
- Work alongside class teachers to provide classroom support
- Deliver 1:1 interventions and small group sessions
- Support students with literacy and reading development
- Assist students with SEN, including Dyslexia
- Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment
These roles are also ideal for English graduates with tutoring experience who are looking to expand their classroom-based skills and experience.
Requirements
- A UK Bachelor's degree in English or a related subject
- A passion for supporting young people in education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain a new DBS
- References covering the last 2 years
